Ranchi is all set to host the second match of Legends League Cricket 2023 (LLC 2023) on Monday, November 20. The match starts at 6.30 pm IST with Manipal Tigers taking on the Gujarat Giants. 

The Tigers is led by Harbhajan Singh while The Giants are led by Parthiv Patel. The former Indian and international cricketers are part of this league which is now in its second season. The tournament will be played from November 18 to December 9. 

India Capitals and Bhilwara Kings played the first match with the Kings winning the game by two wickets Two new teams joined the league namely the Urbanrisers Hyderabad and the Southern Super Stars. 

Big names including Gautam Gambhir, Suresh Raina, Harbhajan Singh, Aaron Finch, Chris Gayle, and others will be part of the six teams in Gujarat Giants, India Capitals, Manipal Tigers, Southern Super Stars, Urbanisers Hyderabad and Bhilwara Kings. 

Four cities in Ranchi, Dehradun, Jammu Kashmir Vizag, and Surat will host the second edition of the Legend League Cricket (LLC). The first five games of the tournament will be played in Ranchi from 18th November to 23rd November.

Ranchi will host matches from November 18 to 23. Dehradun will be the second city to host the LLC 2023 matches from November 24-26. The action then shifts to Jammu for the third phase from November 29-December 1. Vizag will be the last of the venues to host the matches. The city will host four league matches followed by the knockout matches at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam. The final will be played at the same venue as well on December 9.

The Manipal Tigers vs Gujarat Giants LLC 2023 match will be played at the JSCA International Stadium Complex, Ranchi. The match starts at 6.30 pm IST. It is a venue that does not host international cricket matches regularly. Neither the venue hosts IPL matches on a regular basis and hence the ground is not properly maintained. 

Historically, the venue has been a spin-friendly wicket. In seven T20I matches, the average first innings score has not even been 140. The average second innings score drops down to 111. However, the Bhilwara Kings chased down the target of 229 after the Capitals scored 228/8 in their 20 overs. 

Speaking about the weather conditions, winter is starting to set in in the eastern part of India and hence dew will be a factor in these games. The temperature will be around 16 degrees in the evening and there is a high probability of a passing shower on Monday. There is a 56 percent chance of rain as per Accuweather in the evening.
