Five time World Cup champions Australia had a stuttering start in the ongoing tournament of the ICC World Cup 2023 but they made a brilliant comeback since then with now leading at the 4th position on the leaderboard marking that the team has significant chances of making it to the WC Semi-finals. While the Aussies won four games in a row after a dismal start, England is the team to finish last on the leaderboard with their hopes of sealing their spots in the semis hanging by a thread.
Australian David Warner is the second leading player to have scored the most number of runs in the tournament currently with a total of 413 runs that came from six matches. Warner, who has been in an exceptional form added two centuries and one fifty for Australia in the ongoing marquee event.

Australia is all set to lock horns with England, on November 4 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Ahead of a big match for England as a chance to turn their destiny upside down, Australian batsman David Warner opened up about adding more misery on England’s part. He stated “It’d be nice to pile on England’s misery. But they are the teams that are the most dangerous when there’s nothing to lose.
