Updated list of the top 10 players having scored most runs after match 15

Netherlands registered a record-breaking victory against South Africa in match 15 of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup. The Netherlands opened its win account in the ongoing tournament scripting history by defeating the fancied South Africa by a margin of 38 runs. After having won the toss, South Africa chose to bowl first. With the Netherlands batting first, they chased a target of 245 runs. Initially, the match started a bit late due to rain so the Netherlands chased this target in 43 overs. 

Just as the first innings began, skipper Scott Edwards smashed 78 runs off 69 balls. He reckoned on his skillful ability and went all-dominant with the batting. His elegant boundaries took little time to combine up in 78 runs for the Netherlands. Dutch bowler Logan van Beek took 3 wickets and showed up nicely in the match. South Africa’s play

Though as defending champions, the Proteas did their every effort to ensure that they win today’s match but destiny had other things planned for South Africa. With the Dutch scripting history, they smashed hard to defeat South Africa. None of the players from South Africa were able to score even a 50 and were restricted to 207. Their bowlers too failed to record striking bowling figures.

After NED vs. SA match 15, batsman Quinton de Kock has now jumped to third position with a feat of 229 runs. New Zealand’s Devon Conway and Quinton de Kock share same scores at 229 with Devon being at 2nd position. Indian Skipper Rohit Sharma has come down to fourth position from third after Quinton de Kock’s increase in the runs.
