Pakistan cricket team and committing comical mistakes on the field are a match made in heaven. Every now and then, the cricketing world witnesses Pakistani players committing blunders that are not really expected from players who play international cricket.

On Saturday (November 4), it was Hasan Ali’s turn to commit the blunder on the field during the must-win game against New Zealand at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in the ongoing ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. The incident took place in the very final over of New Zealand’s innings when Mitchell Santner was facing left-arm pacer Shaheen Afridi.

On the third ball of the over, the New Zealand spinner miscued a slower ball outside off stump towards the leg side. Hasan Ali was standing at long-on and with the ball falling well in front of him, he kept charging in.
